Seafood dishes are quite traditional in Denmark. Try pickled herring, smoked eel, or boiled fish fillets. Not a fan of seafood? Order a liver paté sandwich, a rare beef patty with capers, or sliced pork roast with pickled cabbage. Wash it all down with a glass of Danish beer or Gløgg (mulled wine).

Campgrounds, hostels, hotels, inns, bed and breakfasts, and private apartment rentals are available for tourists who want to explore Denmark's cities and countryside.
