About Vatican City
Vatican City is the "headquarters" of the Catholic Church. Surrounded by Rome, the Vatican is a tiny nation-state renowned for its art and architecture, religious significance, and cultural importance.
There are few places to eat inside the city walls. A cafeteria-style restaurant, a pizzeria, and a bar can be found inside the Vatican Museums. There are, however, plenty of dining options just outside the walls in the city of Rome.
There is nowhere for tourists to stay in Vatican City, but, as with meals, you can find plenty of options for accommodation in Rome.
